The compressor section is optimized for the most commonly used bus compression tasks in studio environments. With selectable attack times of 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, 10, and 30 ms, release settings from 100 and 300 to 600 ms and 1.2 seconds, and auto ratio options of 1.5, 2, 4, and 10, the CREME provides flexible control over punch, glue, and overall mix cohesion.

A side-chain low-cut filter helps reduce compressor sensitivity to low frequencies, allowing bass-heavy material to pass with less pumping. This makes the unit well suited for stereo bus duties, mastering chains, and subgroup processing where preserving low-end balance is important.
